Anime High School

Anime High School

Introduction

Over my years of watching anime I’ve learned a thing or two about how high schools work in Japan, or at least how they work in anime. The three main components of anime high school are class, clubs, and the student council.

By following this guide, you too can earn your anime high school degree and go on to be the leader of your own harem of anime girls (because that’s the main thing you’ll be learning how to do in an anime high school).

Classes

The very first thing you need to know about your classes in anime high school is where your seat is located. If you’re a boy, you’re in luck because there’s a 90% chance your desk will be near the back of the class next to the window so you can daydream the whole time.

Unfortunately, if you’re a girl, you could be sitting anywhere. Good luck and Godspeed.

Now that you know where your desk is, it’s time to take a look at your class schedule. English is most likely the only class you’ll be taking so if you’re reading this, I’m sure you’ll do fine. Also, all you ever have to do is read a sentence or two out loud from a book and you’re done for the day, so nothing to worry about.

Oh, also don’t forget that you’re probably known as the delinquent of the class so at least try to play the part. However, even if you do your best to turn your reputation around, you’ll probably just end up making things worse for yourself.

Clubs

After classes, the next most important thing for any anime school student is a club. Clubs are a great way to blend in with the rest of the masses, but unfortunately, you’re probably the class delinquent as I mentioned previously so there’s a different set of club rules for you.

The first thing you could do is not join a club. This is a great way to increase your delinquent status because everyone knows that any time you aren’t on school grounds, you’re probably out getting arrested on the streets.

The other option, however, is to join that one club that isn’t really a club. Examples of these kinds of clubs are the Amusement Club from Yuru Yuri, the Neighbors Club from Haganai, or even the SOS Brigade from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Clubs like these are a great way to start your own personal harem of 2D girls, and that’s likely what you’ll end up doing. You can even attempt to start a club of your own, but remember that you need at least four members or you don’t get a club room.

The easiest way to go about acquiring members and a club room, however, is to simply find another club which is failing, and commandeer their member(s) and room. By doing this, you can cheat your way into a new club and get the student council mad at you at the same time!

Student Council

Speaking of the student council, they’re the final thing you need to know about before you begin your anime high school career. If nothing else, remember this one thing: the sole purpose of the student council is to make your life miserable because you’re a delinquent.

The student council is always evil; that’s just a universal fact. If it seems as though they’re being nice to you for some reason, remember that it’s probably some kind of entrapment and get out of there as fast as you can. These guys are seriously bad news.

Not only does the student council govern every part of a student’s life on-campus, but they also govern the off-campus lives of the students under them as well. Did you stop for a snack on your way home from school? That’ll be one year of detention, and also your house is going to be burned down.

That said, although the student council president may seem like evil incarnate at first, she (because it’s usually a girl) is actually on your side, but you’ll have to earn the right to learn that information. At a later point in your anime high school career, you’ll likely team up with her to save the school or something.

Conclusion

Now that you know everything there is to know about anime high schools, and probably high schools in Japan, you’re ready to start applying to the best high schools in the area (although as a delinquent you probably won’t be accepted to those). But don’t worry, you don’t need to go to a good school to start your own harem!
