Spring 2021 Season Update

For the spring 2021 season, I’m planning to watch 17 anime series. That’s 8 fewer than I watched in the winter season — mostly because I need a little bit of a break from watching anime I know are going to be absolute garbage before even starting them.

As always, let’s start with the series that are continuing from the previous season. This time around there are only 3, which are Boruto; So I’m a Spider, So What?; and The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement. New Boruto episodes will continue to be reviewed every Sunday this season.

Next, we have the 4 series that are returning with new seasons. These are My Hero Academia Season 5, Fruits Basket The Final Season, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Ω, and Nomad: Megalo Box 2. Of these, My Hero Academia and Fruits Basket will have new episodes reviewed weekly on Saturdays and Tuesdays respectively. We’ll see how long my weekly reviews of Fruits Basket last this time.

Finally, the new anime I’ll be watching from this season are SSSS.Dynazenon; Let’s Make a Mug Too; Pretty Boy Detective Club; To Your Eternity; Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway; Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro; The Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won’t Lose!; I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level; Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song; and Super Cub.

Unlike last season, I will be reviewing some new anime this time around. Specifically, reviews of SSSS.Dynazenon episodes will be on Fridays and reviews of To Your Eternity episodes will be on Mondays.
