KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 2 Review

Kazuma’s New Business Venture

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 2 is officially here. It was unofficially here about two weeks ago when the first two episodes were leaked. But, I held off watching it until now. I prefer watching the episodes when they actually air.

If you’re someone who watched the episode early. Well, it looks like you’ll have to wait one week longer than the rest of us for Episode 3 because that one wasn’t leaked. Was it worth it? I don’t see how it would be.

Anyway, at the start of Episode 2, we see Kazuma’s new business venture in partnership with Wiz’s shop. In one of the previous seasons, we saw him bring the kotatsu to this world. Now, he’s brought another piece of modern comfort: lighters. That’s right, the days of carrying around flint to start fires are over!

When you think about it, Kazuma should really be focusing on these business ventures if he wants to be rich. He has all this knowledge of technology from our world that he could recreate. He’s also always complaining about the danger he’s put in when adventuring. So, why not quit and become an inventor?

It’s not like he has to be an engineer to be successful at this. There are plenty of simple objects he could reproduce — or have others reproduce on his behalf. These inventions also don’t have to be physical objects. They could be businesses.

Imagine how much money Kazuma could make if he opened a maid cafe featuring Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness. Well, okay, that might not work out. I wouldn’t actually trust those three to work with my customers. So, the first step may be to ditch them and then work on his business.

Making a Good First Impression

I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting Megumin and Aqua to clean up as well as they did. Darkness makes sense. Despite her personality, she is a member of the nobility. She grew up in that world, so she gets it.

Megumin and Aqua, however, aren’t two who I expect to be able to handle the kind of situation they were put in. But, they did a pretty good job. With the help of Darkness’s maid, they got nice outfits to wear. And, overall, they behaved themselves in front of the princess.

Yes, Megumin still did her chuuni introduction and Aqua tried to perform a party trick. But, they didn’t completely go off the rails, as I expected them to. Megumin didn’t fire off any explosion magic and Aqua didn’t hurl insults at the princess. With that in mind, they made good first impressions.

Even later during the dinner party when Iris insults Kazuma, Megumin doesn’t get involved. She wanted to — she really wanted to. But, she didn’t. Though, I wonder what she would have even done. She didn’t have her staff with her. Can she use explosion magic without it?

Or, was she planning on saying some mean things back to the princess? I could definitely see her doing that. And, not in the same way that Aqua would say mean things to the princess. Aqua wouldn’t do that on behalf of Kazuma. She’d do it for herself.

Also, I wonder why Darkness was so worried about meeting with the princess. In my review of Episode 1, I predicted that the princess might try to steal Kazuma from her. That is what happened. However, I thought that was going to be her plan all along.

Princess Iris Stylish-Sword Belzerg

I don’t know if Princess Iris’s name is supposed to be a Monogatari reference. Or, maybe I’m just Monogatari pilled. But, Iris Stylish-Sword Belzerg definitely has Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade vibes. Stylish-Sword has to be a reference to Heart-Under-Blade, right?

Anyway, Iris wasn’t at all what I was expecting. I wasn’t expecting her to be so young. And, I wasn’t expecting her to be so shy. I assumed she’d be in her late teens or twenties. Perhaps somewhere between Kazuma’s and Darkness’s ages. I’m pretty sure Darkness is a few years older than Kazuma.

Since Iris extended this invitation to Kazuma, I also thought she’d be far more forward. I expected her to be the one engaging him rather than going through her guards as mediators. And, well, as I already said, I don’t see what Darkness was all that worried about.

Princess Iris Stylish-Sword Belzerg from the anime series KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 2
Princess Iris Stylish-Sword Belzerg

Of course, in the end, Iris does become a bit more forward. As she and her knights are teleporting away, she grabs Kazuma and brings him with them. Her reason for doing this is that she wants him to tell her more of his adventuring stories. But, where are things going to go from here?

Is Kazuma going to convince her to send him back? He could argue that if she keeps him there, he won’t be able to go on adventures and tell her new stories in the future. Or, are Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness going to launch a rescue mission?

My early prediction is a combination of both. I’m thinking that Kazuma will get Iris to send him back right before the other three head out to save him. However, that might not be the case. The royal castle might be the new setting for much of Season 3.

Final Thoughts

What do you think of KonoSuba 3 Episode 2? What business would you start if you were transported to the world of KonoSuba? How were you expecting the dinner party with the princess to go? And, what do you predict the resolution to Kazuma’s current predicament will be?

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 14 Review

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 14 Review

Rudeus’s Secret Life

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 14 was another alright episode. The previous episode was fine, and this episode was fine too. It wasn’t anything special. It felt like so little happened that I was originally going to dedicate this first section of the review to the new OP.

Maybe in a later review, I’ll discuss the OP. But, for this review, I thought of something else. During the wedding ceremony, Sylphiette asked Nanahoshi what she meant when she said that she and Rudeus were from the same place.

Obviously, Nanahoshi saying that wasn’t going to make sense to Sylphiette. Sylphiette knew Rudeus as a child. She knows Rudeus’s parents, Paul and Zenith Greyrat. And, she knows that Rudeus was born to them in Fittoa. So, what could Nanahoshi have meant?

Sylphiette and Rudeus in the bath from the anime series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 14
Sylphiette and Rudeus in the bath

Well, Nanahoshi deflects Sylphiette’s question. She says that she thought Rudeus was from the same place as her because he speaks her language. With that, she’s trying to imply to Sylphiette that she was wrong about Rudeus. That he’s not actually from where she’s from. And, that could be believable considering Rudeus knows multiple languages.

However, it made me think more about this secret Rudeus is hiding from everyone. As far as I can remember, Nanahoshi is the only one who knows Rudeus comes from another world. He didn’t tell Sylphiette, Eris, Roxy, or even Ruijerd.

Some people, like Orsted, know there’s something different about Rudeus. When Rudeus brought up the name of the Man-God, Orsted asked what Rudeus knew about him. But, that’s as close as anyone’s come to learning Rudeus’s secret.

So, do you think he’ll ever tell Sylphiette? It doesn’t matter. He’s not planning on returning to his old world. But, shouldn’t she know?

Grandma Elinalise

The reveal that Elinalise is Sylphiette’s grandmother wasn’t a surprise, for me. I had that little piece of information spoiled for me a while back. I don’t remember how. But, I’ve known that was the case at least since the first half of this season.

Let’s talk about it, though. Why does it matter if Elinalise is Sylphiette’s grandmother? Well, the simple answer is that it doesn’t matter. Elinalise’s condition is a curse. It’s not something that’s passed down her bloodline. So, no, Sylphiette doesn’t require constant sex to survive.

However, if she did, I’m not so sure that would be a dealbreaker for Rudeus. He’d just want to be the person she has sex with every day. As long as that was the case, he’d probably have no issue with his wife having a curse like that.

Elinalise crying while congratulating Sylphiette from the anime series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 14
Elinalise crying while congratulating Sylphiette

The one way in which this fact could matter is if other elves find out. Did you ever wonder why Sylphiette and her parents moved to the town in Fittoa where Rudeus lived? I didn’t. But, we now know why. They were chased out of the Great Forest because of their connection to Elinalise.

Sylphiette even mentions that her father had trouble marrying because he was Elinalise’s son. So, from all this, we can assume that the other elves don’t look fondly upon Elinalise. If they found out Sylphiette was Elinalise’s granddaughter, they’d most likely shun her, as well. That’s the only real way in which this could matter.

Will Rudeus and Sylphiette ever go to the Great Forest? I don’t know. Will they ever run into other elves Sylphiette isn’t related to? I don’t know that, either. But, at least this hints at how the other elves may react if those things ever do happen.

Greyrat Family Duel

Toward the end of Episode 2, Princess Ariel insists that Rudeus have a duel against Luke. The purpose of this duel seems to be for them to ensure that Rudeus is strong enough to protect Sylphiette. Though, neither Luke nor Ariel states this.

I like the action scenes in Mushoku Tensei. The animators always do a great job. But, I wish this duel lasted a bit longer. Yes, it was pretty satisfying to see Rudeus dispatch Luke so quickly. However, I’d have liked it if he spent more time showing off his skills.

The fact that Rudeus could beat Luke is impressive, though. Remember, Rudeus is a mage. Mages don’t typically fight with swords — they fight with magic. Luke isn’t a mage — he’s a knight. So, Rudeus defeated Luke in his own domain. And, that’s after Rudeus previously showed everyone at the university his magic skill.

Rudeus defeating Luke in a duel from the anime series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 14
Rudeus defeating Luke in a duel

Rudeus is a powerful enough mage that he was able to “harm” the Demon King Badigadi. Any mage of this caliber wouldn’t be expected to also be skilled at sword fighting. But, as we know, Rudeus isn’t a normal person.

Something to keep in mind, though, is that his skill with a sword is mostly authentic. He has his demon eye, which allows him to see a little into the future. That’s going to make a difference — if he uses it, which we have no proof that he did here. But, other than that, he trained to get this good with a sword.

His skills are the result of training with Eris and Ruijerd while traversing across the demon continent. He’s one of the few people at the University who we know has adventurer experience. Considering all that, it’s no wonder he’s the “Boss.”

Final Thoughts

What do you think of Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 14? When, if ever, do you think Sylphiette will learn about Rudeus’s previous life? Are you expecting Sylphiette’s relation to Elinalise to ever come up again? And, were you satisfied with the duel between Rudeus and Luke?

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 50 Review

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 50 Review

The Three Vampire Demon Lords

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 50 was a pretty confusing episode, for me. As someone who watches quite a bit of anime, I often forget what happened in previous seasons. In this episode, that may have been an issue.

There was a lot of information dumped on us in Episode 50. And, I’m not sure if this is the first time we’ve learned a significant amount of it. If it was the first time, this info dump wasn’t structured very well. If it wasn’t the first time, then I forgot a lot.

Now, at the very least, I remembered that Roy Valentine wasn’t a real Demon Lord. I knew that Luminous Valentine was the Demon Lord and that Roy was one of her underlings who pretends to be a Demon Lord in public. I don’t think I knew that Roy had a twin brother.

Roy and Louis Valentine from the anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 50
Roy and Louis Valentine

Is that new information? It’s not exactly a big deal if it is. But, it would mean that Luminous Valentine has multiple Demon Lord-level underlings. As was reiterated in this episode, Roy may not have been a real Demon Lord. However, he was strong enough to be considered one.

Since Roy and Louis are twins, I’m going to go out on a limb and assume Louis is just as strong. And then, there’s Hinata. She was strong enough to defeat both Roy and Louis at the same time. So, I guess that means she’s Demon Lord-level, as well.

Something I kind of remember from Season 2 is that Laplace killed Roy. I don’t think that was new. I also have a feeling that we already knew the other guy who was reincarnated from Rimuru’s old world was a villain. Though, I remember nothing about that.

Holy Empire Lubelius

Episode 50 also gave us some good information about the Holy Empire Lubelius itself. How is it that there’s a Holy Empire led by vampires? That doesn’t make much sense, right? Surely, the vampires are tricking the citizens and using them for some evil scheme. That’s what Hinata thought, too.

Well, it turns out that’s not actually the case. After meeting Luminous Valentine, Hinata was convinced otherwise. The Holy Empire Lubelius is actually one of the most well-off nations. And, it’s due to a symbiotic relationship between vampires and humans.

According to Hinata, the vampires only take a small amount of blood from the citizens. So, it’s not that bad. But, the citizens also get a lot of benefits in return. The happier the human, the tastier their blood. This gives the vampires an incentive to make the humans’ lives better.

Demon Lord Luminous Valentine healing Hinata

Now, would the humans go along with this relationship if they knew the truth? Would they willingly give up their blood to a vampire Demon Lord? I’m not so sure about that. And, that’s why Luminous relies on the facade of the church. Humans are willing to do anything for a god.

Hinata is an example of a human who’s accepted her vampire overlord. Sure, at first, she intended to slay the vampire that was pretending to be a god. But, after learning more about how Luminous’s leadership benefits humans, she supported it.

This is proof that the citizens of the Holy Empire could come to accept vampires. However, that still seems unlikely. That would go against the teachings of the Church that Luminous built up. Would her subjects throw their faith away so easily? And, it’s not as if she could have built her empire without the Church, in the first place.

Another Nation Recognizes Tempest

At the end of Episode 50, we saw the Kingdom of Falmuth and Tempest sign a peace treaty. This treaty put an end to the war between the two nations and included the terms of the king’s abdication.

But, that’s not all it did. The most important thing to come out of the treaty was Falmuth’s formal recognition of Tempest. I don’t remember every nation that’s recognized Tempest. But, there are definitely a few, including Blumund, a small nation on Tempest’s border.

I’m pretty sure that Carrion’s, Freya’s, and Milim’s countries also recognize Tempest. They’re all allies of Rimuru, so that would make sense. And, if I’m not mistaken, Dwargon also recognizes Tempest. It would be weird if they don’t considering Dwargo is Rimuru’s ally and Dwargon has a relationship with Tempest.

The King of Falmuth and Diablo signing a a treaty from the anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 50
The King of Falmuth and Diablo signing a a treaty

Every nation that recognizes Tempest makes Tempest stronger on the world stage. They help legitimize Tempest as a country. And, they show other countries that Tempest has allies. All of this together makes Tempest a more powerful, prosperous, and peaceful nation. And, that’s exactly what Rimuru wants. He doesn’t want to have to fight wars and struggle to survive.

Based on the stuff with Luminous Valentine in this episode, it looks like Lubelius might be next. Luminous got to see what Rimuru was all about during the Demon Lord meeting. And, what she might have seen in him is a path forward for her own country.

If Rimuru can build a nation where humans and monsters can live side-by-side, why can’t she? Again, she kind of shot herself in the foot by building a religion that demonizes monsters. But, perhaps Tempest can help change the Lubelius citizens’ minds about monsters. Then, they could accept Luminous as their leader.

Final Thoughts

What do you think about Tensura Season 3 Episode 50? Did you remember a lot of the information we got in this episode from the previous seasons? Do you think it’s too late for the Holy Empire Lubelius to change? And, which nation do you expect to recognize Tempest next?

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 1 Review

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 1 Review

Kazuma Becomes a Monk

The gang is back in KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 1. And, it was a good first episode. Even after all this time, KonoSuba is still as funny as it’s always been. But, Kazuma was the one who stole the show in this episode.

I hope you watched the Legend of Crimson movie because this season is a direct sequel to that, not Season 2. In that movie, Kazuma & co. protected the Crimson Demon Village from Sylvia of the Demon Lord’s Eight Generals.

In case you didn’t watch it or forgot, Sylvia is a chimera who has both male and female genitalia. And, that’s the trauma Kazuma was dealing with in this episode. Kazuma thought he was going to get laid by Sylvia only to find out that he was the one who was going to get penetrated.

That trauma, combined with his lack of success with other women, led Kazuma to make a radical decision. He’s going to give up adventuring and become a monk. He doesn’t care what denomination he follows as long as it’s not the Axis Sect (Aqua’s church).

As you might expect, this decision doesn’t go down well his his companions. Megumin has a crush on Kazuma, so wants him to stick around. The same is true for Darknes. And, Aqua needs Kazuma to defeat the Demon Lord so she can return to heaven. However, none of them bring up these reasons.

Instead, Megumin and Darkness talk about how much fun it’s been with the four of them together. Meanwhile, in classic Aqua fashion, Aqua ridiculed Kazuma and said he’d come home within a day. As a monk, Kazuma wouldn’t be able to drink, which Aqua knows will be a dealbreaker for him.

Tranquility Girls

In this first episode, we’re introduced to a new type of monster: Tranquility Girls. These are plant-based monsters that take the form of cute girls in need of help. They use their appearance to lure in adventurers before killing them. They then bury the bodies beneath their roots for nutrients.

Kazuma and his companions come across a Tranquility Girl on their way from Axel to the nearby monastery. And, when they do, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness want to help her. But, Kazuma isn’t falling for the monster’s trick.

He tells the others that she’s a monster and that his enemy detection skill is going crazy. At first, they believe him. However, the Tranquility Girl begins to look at them with pleading eyes and even starts to cry. So, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness decide that Kazuma’s just being his usual mean self. Surely, he’s wrong about this girl.

A Tranquility Girl monster from the anime series KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 1
A Tranquility Girl monster

At this point, I was really hoping for the Tranquility Girl to reveal her true nature/form. I thought she would transform into some kind of carnivorous plant. Or, that it would be revealed that the girl is nothing more than a lure on the monster’s much larger body.

But, neither of those things happened — at least, not right away. Instead, the Tranquility Girl speaks and says that she hopes she’s reborn as a human after Kazuma kills her. And, that line was enough to thaw even Kazuma’s ice-cold heart. He decides not to kill the monster and the quartet continue on their way to the monastery.

As we saw, though, Kazuma doubles back because he figures he can make a deal with the monster. He’ll bring her food if she promises not to attack any travelers. But, that’s when he finds out about her true personality.

The Gang Heads to the Princess’s Dinner Party

At the end of the episode, we get a glimpse of what the rest of this season is probably going to be about. Kazuma, via Darkness, receives a letter of invitation from the first princess, Iris.

She’s heard about his exploits in defeating some of the Demon Lord’s Eight Generals. And, she wants to hear more of his heroic tales in person. So, she’s invited him to a dinner party, presumably at the castle. Aqua and Megumin also assume they’re invited, though this isn’t stated.

It’s clear from Darkness’s reaction that she and Iris don’t get along. In fact, it might be that Iris invited Kazuma specifically because he’s one of Darkness’s companions. Darkness says that if things go wrong, Kazuma could be beheaded. But, I have a feeling that’s not what she’s actually worried about.

Aqua, Megumin, and Kazuma giving each other thumbs-up from the anime series KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 1
Aqua, Megumin, and Kazuma giving each other thumbs-up

What this could be is a case of Iris trying to steal Kazuma from Darkness. With what little information we have, that’s my prediction. And, I have a feeling that Iris isn’t going to be thrilled with Kazuma bringing three women along with him.

However, more than anything, this sounds like the setup for the gang having to take down another of the Eight Generals. It’s possible that Iris is going to request that Kazuma defeat another one — or the Demon Lord himself. But, I could also see it being that one of the Eight Generals attacks this dinner party.

Regardless of what happens at this dinner party, I think it’ll be what ignites the main plot of this season. Yes, I know there’s not that much plot in KonoSuba. It does still have a plot, though. The plot is the thread that connects all the wild situations the gang finds themselves in.

Final Thoughts

What do you think of KonoSuba 3 Episode 1? Are you disappointed that Kazuma didn’t even make it to the monastery before turning back? How did you think the Tranquility Girl reveal was going to happen? And, what are your predictions for the dinner party with the princess?

One Piece Episode 1100 Review

One Piece Episode 1100 Review

Luffy vs. Rob Lucci – Round 2

One Piec Episode 1100 is the first amazing episode of the Egghead Arc. It had the same crazy animation we saw a few times in the latter half of Wano — specifically during Luffy’s fights against Kaido. Anytime the animation looks like this, it’s a great episode.

This time around, though, Luffy isn’t fighting an Emperor of the Sea. Luffy is the Emperor of the Sea in this battle. And, the one challenging him is Rob Lucci of CP-0. So, will this fight go the same way as it did back on Water 7? Or, will Rob Lucci take the win?

I think most of us saw this fight as only going one way. Regardless of how much stronger Rob Lucci has gotten since then, he’s up against Luffy. But, I don’t mean that Luffy will win because he’s the protagonist — he’s lost many times before, like against Kaido.

Rob Lucci shirtless from the anime series One Piece Episode 1100
Rob Lucci shirtless

What makes Luffy such a bad opponent for Rob Lucci is the ceiling of their abilities. Rob Lucci is a normal Zoan-type Devil Fruit user. Luffy is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit user whose ability works more like a Paramecia. There’s an inherent difference between the two.

Also, let’s not forget how Kaku and Stussy were telling Rob Lucci not to fight Luffy. They knew this wasn’t going to end well. Sure, they were worried about going against orders and starting a war. However, I also think they simply couldn’t see Rob Lucci coming out victorious.

The best-case scenario for Rob Lucci is that the fight is a tie. And, even in that scenario, he still started a fight with one of the Emperors of the Sea. But, what was always more likely was that Luffy dominated Rob Lucci. Only the Admirals are on par with Emperors.

Cat-Cat Fruit, Model: Leopard, Awakened Form

It turns out that Rob Lucci did have an ace up his sleeve. Luffy’s not the only one who’s awakened his Devil Fruit since they last fought. And, we learned quite a lot about Zoan-type Devil Fruit awakenings thanks to Rob Lucci.

Let’s start with the appearance of Rob Lucci’s awakened form. It doesn’t make much sense, to me. Why does his tail have a black flame on it? Why does he have a black flame hagoromo around his shoulders? Luffy’s hagoromo makes sense since Nika is a god. Rob Lucci’s doesn’t.

But, the answer may lie in something Dr. Vegapunk says after seeing Rob Lucci’s awakened form. He’s surprised that Rob Lucci hasn’t gone berserk. Think back to the jailer beasts of Impel Down or Chopper’s Monster Point transformation. Those are also awakened Zoan-type forms, as far as we know.

Rob Lucci's awakened Devil Fruit form from the anime series One Piece Episode 1100
Rob Lucci’s awakened Devil Fruit form

Sure, Chopper can now control himself, for the most part, while in Monster Point. But, he still hasn’t mastered using it. So, it looks like the difference between Rob Lucci’s awakening and that of other awakened Zoan-type users is his mastery over it. And, that’s something he and Luffy may have in common.

It’s possible that any awakened Zoan-type user who’s mastered their awakening would get a hagoromo like these two have. At this point, we simply don’t have enough information to confirm or deny that. Luffy and Rob Lucci are the only awakened Zoan-type users we know of who look like this.

However, if the hagoromo is the sign that a Zoan-type user has mastered their awakening, what about Kaido? Kaido didn’t have one. And, there was never any mention of Kaido’s Devil Fruit being awakened. But, are we seriously assuming Kaido never awakened his Devil Fruit?

Vegapunk’s Devil Fruit Theory

As cool as the fight between Luffy and Rob Lucci was, I wouldn’t even call that the highlight of the episode. The highlight was Dr. Vegapunk revealing his theory about the origins of Devil Fruit.

Where the Devil Fruit come from and why they exist, in the first place, has been a huge mystery for the entire series. We still don’t have a hard confirmation. But, this is Dr. Vegapunk we’re talking about. If he has a theory, there seems to be a pretty good chance that it’s correct.

So, where does Dr. Vegapunk think Devil Fruit come from? He believes that the desires of humans cause them to pop up into existence. Every Devil Fruit represents something that someone on the planet has desired. For example, Rob Lucci’s Devil Fruit came from the desire to be a leopard.

Dr. Vegapunk revealing his Devil Fruit theory from the anime series One Piece Episode 1100
Dr. Vegapunk revealing his Devil Fruit theory

That doesn’t mean that the users of each fruit had those desires, though. Rob Lucci himself may never have desired to be a leopard. He just happened to eat the fruit that manifested in response to that desire existing.

This is a very interesting theory for a few reasons.

First, Vegapunk mentions how a Devil Fruit will continue to exist as long as someone desires it. So, if it stops being desirable, it won’t respawn. Does this mean Luffy will be the last Nika-Nika Fruit user? If he frees the entire world, there won’t necessarily be a need for that Devil Fruit to come back.

On the other hand, this also means that new Devil Fruit can pop up at any point. If a new desire arises, it can spawn an entirely new Devil Fruit. Vegapunk says the Gum-Gum Fruit doesn’t exist in the old encyclopedias. But, that doesn’t mean won’t ever exist.

Final Thoughts

What do you think of One Piece Episode 1100? Do you think Rob Lucci actually had a decent matchup against Luffy? How do you feel about the appearance of Rob Lucci’s awakened form? And, do you like Dr. Vegapunk’s theory about where Devil Fruit come from?
